I am leaving for Rome this weekend after Mass. I will be there until late on Friday, May 1st. Know of my prayers for all you in a special way while I am there. Our pilgrimage group will be going to St. Mary Major and to the place where St. Catherine of Siena is buried. Both of these are important to us locally as these are two of our churches. The pilgrimage will also be going to where St. Padre Pio is buried in the Southeast and all the way to the Northwest where the Shroud of Turin is on display (This is the burial cloth of Jesus). During this time there will be emergency coverage, so just leave a message at the church office, and Carolyn will check them periodically. I also thank Fr. Ernie Martella, from the Crosier Fathers & Brothers, who will be here on the weekend of April 25 & 26 to do our every other year Mission appeal. Please be generous with the appeal. It will be going to support the Crosier Fathers and Brothers’ mission in the Congo. What a worthy thing to support. May God bless each of you with His peace!
