I have great news to share!!! Our Lady of the Snows has just one more payment to make on the mortgage. The final payment is due, providentially, on August 5, Our Lady’s parish feast day! We are going to party on this day to celebrate this great event. This is going to be done with the most important prayer we Catholics can do. We are going to have Mass on Wednesday, August 5 at 5:00pm at OLS, followed by a potluck celebration. Come one, come all and celebrate with us. Fr. Steve Daigle is planning on coming back for this celebration. It isn’t too often that we get to burn the mortgage. Please bring a dish to share for the celebration. Thanks to all that have made our renovation possible, whether with money or help. All of this has made it possible for future generations to worship God in a beautiful space.
Also at OLS, the Finance Council along with the diocese have approved an easement to the city of Bigfork to put the Bigfork River Walk through a portion of our property. We look forward to a trail going through in the next year or two that will allow people to enjoy the beauty of our two rivers. The trail will be on the northern portion of our property and it will be able to be enjoyed by all.
