It is good to be home.  I had a great time at my family reunion.  Thanks for the prayers.  It went really, really well.  No trips to the ER for any of us.  And I believe that most people enjoyed themselves.  One never knows how these things are going to go, but I am thankful that it went well.

Two big events that are happening soon in the Diocese are in the bulletin, but I want to highlight them.  First, is the Mass for Prayers for Healing on Monday, July 27th, at 6:00pm at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary.  Many, many beautiful healings have taken place and I would encourage parishioners to go.

The second event is the celebration for the Duluth Diocese 125th Anniversary.  The celebration will take place on Saturday, September 12th in Duluth.  There will be no Saturday evening Masses in our parishes on this weekend.  There will however, be an extra Sunday Mass at STC that weekend.  It would be so great if we had enough participation to rent a coach bus to get to Duluth.  It looks to be a great celebration for the Diocese.  Come and enjoy and celebrate 125 years.
