This last weekend we heard the importance of Confession because it is the way to deep down internal peace.  And if our world is ever in need of peace, it has to begin with you and me.  That is, it has to start with us going to God in a deep personal relationship where we are willing to admit our faults and ask Him, in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, for the forgiveness of sins.  Remember that our normal confession times our:

STC:

3:00pm– 3:45 on Saturdays

STM:

6:30pm– 6:45 on Saturdays

OLS:

8:30am– 8:45 on Fridays

8:00am– 8:45 on Sundays

Now these are the normal times.  There are many, many times that I hear confession outside of the normally scheduled times.  Sometimes, someone may ask me to hear their confessions at other times.  I am very, very glad to do this.  There are times when someone is in the hospital or homebound that I go to them to hear their confessions because, needless to say, they aren’t able to get to confession.

This year I will add additional confessional times on two specific days.  On Wednesday, April 1, I will be available for confessions at STM from 5:00pm– 6:00pm.  I will do Stations of the Cross at 6:00pm, followed by confession from 6:30pm– 7:30pm.  On Thursday, April 2 at OLS, I will be available for Confessions from 10:00am– 11am and from 5:00pm– 6pm.  I hope this gives people more opportunities to be able to go to Confession.  Come and receive God’s mercy and forgiveness.
