I never know how my day or week will go.  Sometimes when I expect my week to be light, it is suddenly busy, and other times when I expect it to be busy, it becomes light.  Still, I have found that I am given what I need to deal with the weeks as they come.  I am sure that many of the parents out there can say the same thing.  There are moments in our lives that we never ever expect to be dealing with, and yet some how we get through those moments.  God gives us what we need when we need it.  There are so many times as a priest that I could talk about this.  Grace is given by God in these moments.  There is peace given, a sense that everything is going to work out some how.  It is in these moments that people who have faith grow in their relationship with God.  It is these moments that help us to rely on God’s faithfulness toward us.  There are times when I don’t know what I should say or do, and yet there is God giving me what I need when I need it.  I think of the Second Glorious Mystery of the Rosary when Jesus ascended into Heaven.  Jesus told us that He would not leave us orphans.  And then God sent us the Holy Spirit (The Third Glorious Mystery).  The Holy Spirit is given to us at Baptism and strengthened at Confirmation.  And it is He who graces us in those moments when we are in need.  Soon we will celebrate Pentecost.  How close of a relationship do we have with the Holy Spirit?  He will lead us in those difficult moments.  He will be with us too, in all moments of our life.  So we should strengthen our relationship with the Holy Spirit to be able to weather any storm that may come.
