This year there will be a change with the Deer Hunters Masses. There will still be Deer Hunters Masses at St. Michael’s in Northome and Our Lady of the Snows in Bigfork on the opening weekend of Firearms. This is on Saturday, November 5th. There will not be a late Mass for opening of Deer Season at St. Catherine’s in Squaw Lake. The Mass at STC on opening of Deer Season will be at the normal time, which is 4:00 pm. I thank Fr. Jerry Weiss and Fr. George Zeck for helping with Masses that weekend. Please make adjustments accordingly so that you are able to attend Mass. On Sunday, November 6th, Mass will still be at 9:00 am at OLS. Thanks for understanding the need to make this necessary change.
November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be Mass at two churches for this Holy Day. I am sorry, but I am away for this, which means I am relying on help from brother priests who also have their own assignments. So on Monday, October 31st, STC will celebrate Mass at 6:00 pm. And on Tuesday, November 1st, OLS will celebrate Mass at 9:00 am. I thank Frs. Jerry Weiss and Charlie Friebohle for covering these Masses while I am away. This means that there will be no Mass at STM for the Holy Day. I am sorry about this, and again thanks for understanding.
