This weekend, right after Mass, I will be leaving for retreat. I will be gone from Sunday, October 30th, right after Mass, until Tuesday, November 8th late in the evening. If any emergencies happen while I am away, call the office and someone will be checking messages.
All Saints Day is happening while I am away. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be Mass on Monday, October 31st at 6:00pm at STC. And there will be Mass on Tuesday, November 1st at 9:00am at OLS. I am sorry but there will not be Mass at STM for the Holy Day as the priests who are covering are not able to do it. Thank you to Fr. Jerry Weiss and Fr. Charlie Friebohle for covering these Masses.
Saturday, November 5th is opening of Firearms Season for Deer Hunting. Fr. George Zeck will be covering the normal Mass schedule for the weekend. That means STC will have Mass at 4:00pm with confessions at 3:00pm. STM will have Mass at 7:00pm with confessions at 6:30pm. And OLS will have Mass on Sunday at 9:00am with confessions at 8:00am. There will also be an additional Mass on Saturday evening, the 5th of November, at OLS at 7:00pm. Thank you to Fr. Jerry Weiss for covering this Mass.
It is hard to be away for Holy Days, and I will tell you that I don’t like to be! But this is how my class scheduled retreat this year. The good news is that after this retreat I will be almost done, only one more week of class in February. Thanks be to God!!! I will be praying for y’all while I am on retreat. Please pray for me.
Again, thanks to my brother priests for being available to help because without them we would not have Mass. Please thank them for coming, and pray for them and their assignments.
