This week we finished the second and last of our parishes Vacation Bible Schools!!! I am so very pleased at how they turned out this year. The children this year (because we used a new program) learned about the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, & Adoration. And those are just some of the spiritual things they did. For instance one of the days they studied about the Annunciation. So for a snack on this day, to celebrate the Angel Gabriel’s coming to make the announcement to Mary, they had angel food cake. On the day they studied the Stations of the Cross, they had a snake of rice crispy treats in the form of a cross. The people who write these things are so very creative and so are our teachers who taught. A special thank you to them. Shana Dreher, Kristy Pink and Renee Pollard did the teaching at STM. For OLS it was Janice Haley and Nicole Lee. I was impressed. Please continue to pray for our young people, and pray that they all develop a personal relationship with Jesus. It is such a blessing to watch their faith lives grow.
