TC Day 26 (Molded)

Day 26

St. Louis De Montfort says it so well.  We are to be molded.  To be molded means that we are to be liquefied.  For gold to be purified and poured into a mold, it needs to be heated up hot, hot, hot.  When it is done, it is ready to be poured into the mold.  Thus are we to be molded too.

“Mary is a mold capable of forming people into the image of the God-man.  Anyone who is cast into this divine mold is quickly shaped and molded into Jesus and Jesus into him” (Preparation for Total Consecration, 88).  In order for this to happen we need to be poured out into the mold.  We need to be willing surrender all!

Mary is the mold that we want to be poured into.  She knows the path to God.  She is the mold in which we are made into the image of Jesus.  In order for us to have this happen, “[We] cast and lose [ourselves] in Mary where [we] become true models of her Son” (Preparation for Total Consecration, 89).  When we allow God to work through Mary by letting ourselves be molded in her mold, we entrust ourselves to Him.  It is truly beautiful to see how surrendering, and pouring ourselves out into the mold of Mary, we are transformed into His image.  As Saint John the Baptist says, “He must increase, I must decrease” (John 3:30).  It is time for us to be molded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
