Summer is finally here!!!!   At least, that is what it feels like.  Summer officially doesn’t start until June 22, but as we know up here in the northland it comes very quickly and leaves us even quicker.  I have seen many people planting gardens, and doing those things that we do during this time.  Enjoy the outdoors.  Everything is greening up so nice out there.  It really makes one thankful for the beauty of creation.  Thank God for all the beauty of nature that we get to experience every day here where we live.  I thank God that we don’t have to deal with the traffic and noise of the cities up here.  It is quiet and peaceful.

This year again, Our Lady of the Snows has a community garden behind the social hall.  I thank Larry and Carolyn Kaczor for organizing it and keeping it going.  I know that this year there have been people helping to weed, plant, provide seeds and plants.  There is much work to be done.  If you would like to help with the garden, I know that Larry and Carolyn would be pleased to have your assistance.  Hopefully in the fall (and sooner) there will be much of God’s beautiful produce to share with our local community.

Please pray for our up coming Vacation Bible Schools at OLS and STM.  What a blessing it is to spread the faith to our young people.
