Happy Easter everyone!  I hope you all have a beautiful celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection!  Alleluia!  I will be traveling down to the Cities after the final Mass on Easter to spend a little time with my family.  I will return on late Thursday evening March 31.  During this time if there are any emergencies please call the office and leave a message, Carolyn will be checking messages on a periodic basis.

Mass on April 1 (I know it is April Fools day) will change to 9:00am.  This change is something we are going to experiment with for daily Mass in Bigfork for two months.  So Masses during April and May in Bigfork will be on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9:00am.  The Pastoral Council and I discussed doing this trial for two months and toward the end of the two months to make a decision about how it will go in the future.  So if you like it, make sure you are coming to Mass and let Pastoral Council members know.

On Monday, April 4th there will be Mass at OLS for the Annunciation.  This Solemnity is transferred because it cannot be celebrated during Holy Week nor during Easter Week.  This was the first available space to celebrate the Announcement of Jesus’ birth to Mary.  Come and enjoy this beautiful celebration.

Looking ahead we will again be working toward the Total Consecration to Our Lady using the St. Louis De Montfort format.  This will begin on Thursday, April 28 and go until Tuesday, May 31, which is the Feast of the Visitation.  I will be doing a couple of workshops on this, more information to follow.

It is Easter Week, so enjoy and celebrate our Lord’s resurrection from the dead and that we have the opportunity to go to Heaven.  That doesn’t mean though that we should go hog wild nor does it mean that we should indulge in things that we gave up for Lent.
