Last weekend I preached about a book called “Forming Intentional Disciples.”  What is interesting is that it says that most average parishes only have 5% of their parishioners who are intentional disciples.  Matthew Kelly, in his book, “The Four Signs of a Dynamic Catholic,” says that there are 7% of parishioners who are living out the four signs.  In other words, Matthew is saying that 7% of parishioners are Dynamic Catholics or intentional disciples.  In order for this to change it takes time, generally the thought is that it takes 5 years to double this.  So this year, I will be teaching RCIA in a new way to work on helping us all to be formed into intentional disciples.  I will be starting RCIA at OLS this year on Sundays after Mass.  This RCIA program is for Catholics, Christians, and non-Christians who are curious about Catholicism.   RCIA will begin sometime in the fall with times and dates to  be announced in the future.  Please come and help yourselves grow into intentional disciples.
