Day 12
What if for every time we were faithful to God, there was a candle burning. But for every sin that we committed one of the candles that were burning would be snuffed out.
Would we have more snuffed out candles, or more candles burning? Hopefully it would look something like this:
We are called to be light. All our actions and words, thoughts are to be about praising God not the world. “Jesus tells us that we have the mission of being light for the world, not slaves of the world” (Preparation for Total Consecration, 42). Now that we have done the twelve days of renunciation of the world, are we going to be a light in the darkness or just a snuffed out mess?
