TC Day 21 (Dynamite)

Day 21

There is a difference between a fire cracker and dynamite.

A fire cracker can do a little damage, but with some dynamite, we can do a lot of damage.  If I was trying to get rid of a huge rock in a field, I could try to use a fire cracker to get rid of it, and it might do the job, but if I used dynamite, I would blow the rock into millions of pieces.

The Enemy looks at you and me as a fire cracker; he is not so concerned with us.  But Mary is like dynamite, the Enemy is very concerned with her.  “The most fearful enemy that God has set up against the devil is Mary, his holy Mother” (Preparation for Total Consecration, 79).  Mary is powerful because she lives in God.  She is powerful because she is fully united with Him.  We are fire crackers against the Enemy, she is DYNAMITE!!!

Our Mother is powerful; she is a force to be reckoned with.  Mary is a strong creature.  “Satan, being proud, suffers infinitely more in being vanquished and punished by a lowly and humble servant of God, for her humility humiliates him more than the power of God” (Preparation for Total Consecration, 79-80).  Mary is powerful for she relies on God, but most of all because she is humble.  She crushes the head of Satan with her heel.  Thus being consecrated to her is to trust like her in God.  Mary is faithful and loving: she puts fear into the devil, because he is none of this.  So trust that Mary, Our Mother, wants to aid us in bringing us to God.  Shouldn’t we humble ourselves like Mary did?
